An Oceanside teen-ager Monday became the second fatality in a Sunday car crash.

Lawrence Andrew Ware, 15, died about 1 a.m. at Children’s Hospital, Deputy Coroner Everett Mauger said.

Jonathan Nothstein, 26, a Marine, died Sunday at the accident scene. Nothstein was driving a four-wheel-drive vehicle that overturned while traveling over rough terrain and landed in a creek. Nothstein died when he was trapped underwater beneath the vehicle.

Another passenger, Angela Dowd, 23, of Oceanside, was treated for a dislocated shoulder at a local hospital.
