Elderly Couple Die in Fire

WORCESTER, Mass. — A fire early Monday killed an elderly couple and destroyed their home, authorities said. Firefighters said rescue efforts were slowed because they had to dig out a fire hydrant from a snowdrift. The cause of the fire was being investigated.
