Valencia Girls Defeat Western in Soccer, 4-1

Debbie LaPorte, Kristi Osgard, Kameron Sweeney and Stacey Zirwas each scored goals Monday to lead the Valencia High School girls’ soccer team to a 4-1 victory over Western in an Orange League game played at Western.

Valencia is 4-0 in league and 11-6-1 overall. Chris Leisure scored for the Pioneers (1-3, 3-10).

Orange Lutheran 4, Anaheim 2--Kathy Anderson scored two goals and Gail Swickard and Jenifer Juranek scored one each to lead the Lancers (2-2, 3-7-1) to the victory over the Colonists at Orange Lutheran.
