A man who had been in prison just one week was stabbed to death at California Correctional Institute in Tehachapi. Anthony Griffin, 22, was stabbed once in the neck and died an hour later at the prison infirmary, spokesman Jim Gamboa said. Griffin was sent to the Kern County prison Jan. 20 on an involuntary manslaughter conviction in Los Angeles County. Guards had no suspects.
