Peppi’s 28 Points Lead Cal Lutheran Women

Senior forward Kim Peppi scored a game-high 28 points as Cal Lutheran defeated Southern California College, 70-60, in a Golden State Athletic Conference basketball game in Costa Mesa.
Gloria Phillipps added 16 points and 13 rebounds for Cal Lutheran (7-11, 3-1), which shot 52% (18 of 34) in the first half en route to a 40-26 lead.
Dolores Essinger led Southern California College (7-5, 1-4) with 22 points and 9 rebounds.
