Body of Woman Found in Carlsbad Building

Carlsbad police are trying to identify a woman whose body was discovered Saturday inside an unoccupied building on the 5900 block of Avenida Encinas.
Police investigators were called to the building about 2:10 p.m. by several citizens who discovered the body. A police spokeswoman said the woman was white and 20 to 30 years old. She had been dead for about 48 hours.
Police said that the victim was nude except for stockings and that she died of head injuries.
