Retarded Youth Found: An off-duty Los Angeles police officer found a missing 18-year-old retarded man from Irvine late Friday as the man walked near a freeway in the San Gabriel Valley, authorities said. Ron Urban, who is deaf and has the mental age of a 10-year-old, was in good condition when he was taken to the Sheriff’s Department’s City of Industry station about 8 p.m., Police Lt. Sam Allevato said. Urban, who walked away from the condominium complex where he lives with his mother and brothers a week ago, was found walking near the Pomona and San Gabriel River freeways.
