With Kevin Hendrix showing the way, the Cal State Northridge men’s track team won a dramatic California Collegiate Athletic Assn. four-way meet at Pomona on Saturday. The Northridge men scored 73 points, followed by Cal State Bakersfield (71), Cal Poly Pomona (47) and UC Riverside (14).
Hendrix, a freshman from Fresno’s Roosevelt High, won the 100 and 200 meters in 10.90 and 21.73. But it was his 47.8 anchor leg in the mile relay which gave Northridge the win.
