Westminster : Robber Takes $1,000 From Savings Bank

A bank robber fled with about $1,000 from Home Savings Bank at 6951 Bolsa Ave. in Westminster at 12:13 p.m. Tuesday after showing a teller a note demanding money, police said.
The robber was described as about 20 or 21 years old, 5 feet 7 or 5 feet 8, and 150 to 160 pounds, Westminster Police Officer Larry Woessner said.
