Point Loma Plays Kennedy

SAN DIEGO — Terri Mann will play her last high school game in San Diego tonight at 7:30 when Point Loma meets Kennedy of Granada Hills in the semifinals of the Division I Southern California regionals at Serra High School.
Mann, a two-time All-American and two-time San Diego Section player of the year for Point Loma (31-0), has set national high school rebounding records for a career (2,171) and season (731) and is second in career scoring (3,066).
Point Loma, ranked No. 1 in the state by Cal-Hi Sports, is the three-time defending state champion.
Kennedy (23-3), the Los Angeles City 4-A champion and ranked 13th in the state, defeated Hanford, 55-34, in a first-round game Tuesday. Kennedy is led by center Diane DeCree, who had 21 points and 14 rebounds against Hanford.
The regional final will be played Saturday in the Los Angeles Sports Arena.
