Woody Allen has filed a $10-million suit against a New York menswear firm and its advertising agency for placing newspaper ads in which a look-alike of the comedian peddles suits he claims made him a “sex symbol.” The federal suit filed in Manhattan federal court last week asks $10 million in punitive damages against Men’s World Outlet Inc., and its ad agency, Ribaudo & Schaefer, for an ad that ran in New York newspapers April 5, 1986.
