I think Jeane Kirkpatrick’s assessment of liberal “political courage” is right on the money. The liberals are saying, “We must surrender now to avoid defeat.”
If a liberal is elected President in 1988 it will probably be changed to: “We must commit suicide to escape death.”
There are a lot of good anti-Communist, pro-American organizations in this country. Unfortunately, a democratically controlled Congress isn’t one of them.
