A 2 1/2-year-old girl left by her mother and told “to wait for Jesus” was in good condition after wandering for 20 hours in near-freezing temperatures in a wooded area near Bruceton Mills, W. Va., authorities said. Season Feather of Smithfield, Pa., was found about a mile from the field where she was left near the West Virginia-Pennsylvania border, said Pennsylvania state police spokeswoman Jo Ann Dearth. The mother, Geri Feather, had also abandoned her 12-year-old daughter but that child was found a few hours later. The abandonments had some religious involvement, investigators said.
