Security agents arrested five people of Tunisian origin and seized arms, explosives and ammunition in a raid in the Paris region, the French Interior Ministry said. It was not disclosed if the arrests were connected to terrorist activities. The statement did not identify those arrested. It was the fifth seizure of arms and explosives by the counterintelligence agency Direction de la Surveillance du Territoire in the past six months.
