714 Soccer Team Beats 805 Squad

The 714 area code team made two penalty kicks and went on to defeat the 805 area code team, 3-1, Sunday afternoon in a boys’ all-star soccer game at Cal State Northridge.
Ramon Miramontes of Sunny Hills and Kenny Clayborn of Brea-Olinda each got assists as Jose Vasquez scored to put the 714 team ahead, 1-0, 12 minutes into the game.
Darrin Goodman of Cajon High School scored on a penalty kick 10 minutes into the second half to make it 2-0.
Mike Krundren of Cypress scored 20 minutes into the second half on a penalty kick to put the 714 team ahead, 3-0.
