Cremona, Italy, will mark the 250th anniversary of Antonio Stradivari’s death this year with a month of concerts by some of the world’s most celebrated musicians, who will all play Stradivarius instruments. Salvatore Accardo said he will play in an unusual performance of Vivaldi’s “Four Seasons” in which all the stringed instruments, not just those of the soloists, will be Stradivari-crafted. Other musicians to take part in 12 concerts between Aug. 26 and Sept. 28 in the Roman city on the Po River: violinists Pinchas Zukerman, Cho-Liang Lin, Henryk Szeryng, Anne-Sophie Mutter and Gidon Kremer; cellist Yo-Yo Ma; and conductor Carlo Maria Giulini.
