In response to Andrew Ko, we would like to offer a different, more optimistic picture.
We started looking for potential homes in various beach communities in spring, 1985.
In the spring of 1986, we purchased our first home (after one year of searching). Ken Trossen was the broker who never gave up, and explained every step. He prepared us for potential problems and was available at all hours for questions, concerns, counseling and sometimes just comforting.
Recently, a problem came up with the title insurance (a year after we closed escrow). Ken Trossen was on the phone immediately with the title insurance company and the problem was resolved.
