It’s Wonderful That Something So Meaningless Means So Very Much

Byron Scott deserves much more credit than he has been receiving. The Lakers are the 1987 NBA champions, and any member of the team will tell you that Scott’s play throughout the season is a major reason they are where they are, regardless of how he played in the Boston Garden in the championship series.
Trading Norm Nixon for the draft rights to Scott is one of the best trades the Lakers ever made. The Lakers are a running team, and no guard is as good on a break as Scott.
Real Laker fans support all the players, through good times and bad.
