Audiotronics of N. Hollywood Considers Acquisition of Leda

Audiotronics Corp. of North Hollywood is considering acquiring Leda Corp., a Huntington Beach-based engineering and manufacturing company that specializes in the design of audio-visual and electronic products. Audiotronics supplies schools and businesses with audio-visual products.
In March, Audiotronics more than quadrupled its debt to fend off a possible takeover bid by Flamemaster, a Sun Valley-based company that owns 5.2% of Audiotronics stock. Audiotronics President Charles Musson said his firm’s interest in Leda Corp. is not another ploy to block Flamemaster. “There’s no connection at all,” he said.
