A Hawthorne teen-ager gunned down in a drive-by shooting was apparently a victim of gang-related violence, sheriff’s deputies said. Gustavo Gonzales, 16, died several hours after he was shot near 147th Street and Cerise Avenue, Deputy Chris Robbins said. No one else was injured by the shots, believed to have been fired from a passing car. Detectives suspect gang involvement, Robbins said.
