Dick Moss, the agent for Detroit Tiger pitcher Jack Morris, told an arbitrator in New York of his client’s unsuccessful attempt as a free agent to find a job with another team during the off-season.
Moss was the leadoff witness at a hearing into a second grievance filed by the players’ union, charging the club owners with collusion in blocking the movement of free agents.
