Karcher Creates, Fills R&D; Post

Steven E. Bamberger has been named director of research and development at Anaheim-based Carl Karcher Enterprises Inc.
In the newly created position, Bamberger will be in charge of packaging, equipment and development of new products and menus for the operator of the Carl’s Jr. chain of hamburger houses.
Before joining Karcher Enterprises, Bamberger, 37, worked in product research and development for Burger King Corp. He also was a quality assurance consultant with Erie Testing Laboratories in Erie, Pa.
Karcher Enterprises has 436 restaurants in California, Arizona and Nevada.
