San Diego Man to Design Fair

Robert W. Pearson of the San Diego architectural firm of Salerno/Livingston & Partners has been named to a design team that is developing a World’s Fair site master plan for Brisbane, Australia.

Pearson is part of a team assembled by the Vancouver, Canada, architectural firm of R. E. Hulbert & Associates. He and eight fellow designers will compete against other international developer-architect teams in an architectural design competition.

Brisbane, the capital of Queensland, is seeking a master plan for the use of a downtown waterfront site, to be implemented on completion of the 1988 World’s Fair there.
