3 Die, 101 Hurt in Train Crash

VIENNA — Two passenger trains crashed head-on in northern Austria today, killing three people and injuring 101, officials said.
A spokesman for Austrian Railways in Vienna said an express train from Innsbruck to Vienna and a passenger train going from Vienna to Salzburg collided near Lambach, about 25 miles southwest of Linz. The train from Innsbruck had about 200 people on board, and the Vienna-Salzburg train about 100 passengers, the railway spokesman said.
