Village Christian 20, Cathedral 9--Village Christian’s Joe Everett gained 137 yards on 25 carries to pace the Crusaders to their first win of the season at Kennedy High.
The Crusaders (1-1) went ahead to stay in the second quarter when quarterback Drew Martenson lofted a 12-yard touchdown pass to Greg Lloyd to make the score 13-9.
