Jim Fregosi has agreed to a multiyear contract to return as manager of the Chicago White Sox.
“I’m thrilled to death we got it all hashed out,” Fregosi said of his negotiations with White Sox General Manager Larry Himes.
Fregosi said Himes wanted to give him a one-year contract but finally agreed to the multiyear pact.
