Buie to Build for Retirees in Rancho California

The Buie Corp. has purchased a 480-acre parcel in Rancho California to develop an adult-oriented retirement community.
Bedford Properties sold the parcel, north of Rancho California Road about two miles east of Interstate 15, for $13 million.
The project will be modeled after Rancho Bernardo, according to the Buie Corp.
The new community will have 2,000 homes and a seven-acre commercial project, all a joint venture between the Buie Corp. and Nevada Savings & Loan.
