Laguna Niguel’s Cityhood Voting
Laguna Niguel’s Citizen Task Force did not want to give the people in the communities forming the coastal strip the right to vote for their choice between a coastal city and an inland city. They sued and argued in court that our right to vote was a waste of time and money.
To me, this one point about money clearly demonstrates Laguna Niguel’s paramount interest in the people of the coastal strip communities. Our pocketbook!
Now those who talked about denying the 13 coastal communities their right to vote have been told by Superior Court Commissioner Ronald L. Bauer that the vote should and will take place as planned. Justice prevails--vote Nov. 3.
