Kings to Play Canadiens in Game of Opposites

MONTREAL — In a meeting of teams with the National Hockey League’s best and worst records, the Kings will open a five-game trip against the Montreal Canadiens here tonight at the Forum.
The Canadiens lead the Adams Division with a 16-7-6 record, while the Kings, winless in their last four games, are 7-15-4 and last in the Smythe Division.
The Kings, who lost consecutive overtime games to the Winnipeg Jets this week, are 1-11-2 at Montreal since beating the Canadiens on Jan. 4, 1979.
