Long Beach : Tuttle Says He’ll Pay Debt
Long Beach Councilman Edd Tuttle said he will pay more than $1,400 in back child support to his ex-wife, who last week filed documents to garnish Tuttle’s city salary until the debt is settled.
“It’ll be paid off by the weekend,” Tuttle said. “I feel the children are suffering dramatically by the push and pull. . . . “
Tuttle and Jan Herman were divorced in 1979. They have two sons. Tuttle, who has contended that he made up for the payments in purchases for the children and other considerations, said he plans court action to win joint custody.
