El Toro, Los Alamitos to Square Off in Southern Conference Title Game

El Toro High School, having earned a spot in the championship game with a last-second touchdown last week that beat top-seeded Santa Ana, goes for its second straight Southern Conference football title tonight at 7:30 against Los Alamitos at Orange Coast College.
El Toro has an 11-2 record and Los Alamitos, known for its defense, a 12-1 mark.
Tonight’s other match-ups, also at 7:30:
--Arroyo Grande (10-2-1) at Burroughs of Burbank (12-1) for the Northwestern title.
--Northview of Covina (11-1-1) against Los Altos of Hacienda Heights (12-1) at Mt. San Antonio College for the Eastern Conference championship.
--Valencia of Placentia (11-2) against Anaheim (10-2-1) at Glover Field in Anaheim for the Central Conference title.
--Carpinteria (13-0) at Tehachapi (10-2-1) for the Inland Conference crown.
