Re: Fullerton’s Hillcrest war memorial:
It was gratifying to read that there is still some interest left in our country’s history with the ceremonies commemorating the 46th anniversary of the bombing of Pearl Harbor. The mass media apparently choose to ignore this infamous day as if we had been the aggressors rather than the victims. Living through those frightening times was difficult for all of us. Man’s inhumanity toward man should not be cast aside and forgotten. We need reminders to help prevent recurrences of such tragic incidents.
