Claremont-Mudd Tops SCC in Basketball

Mike Larson scored 22 points and Todd Thomas added 17 points as Claremont-Mudd University defeated Southern California College, 77-70, Saturday night in a nonconference basketball game at Costa Mesa. Kevin Alexander, with 17 points, and Jeff deLaveaga, with 16, were the top scorers for the Vanguards.
