NEW YORK — The Clippers, mired in their worst slump of the season, will play the New York Knicks tonight to open a 7-game, 13-day trip against Eastern Conference teams.
The Clippers (8-16) have lost four straight games and six of their last seven, including a 121-102 decision to the Phoenix Suns Wednesday night in which they blew a 21-point first-half lead.
Forward Joe Wolf, who has been sidelined for three weeks since undergoing arthroscopic knee surgery, will accompany the team on the trip.
The Knicks (9-18) posted a 123-110 win over the Portland Trail Blazers Tuesday night. Forward Kenny Walker came off the bench to score a season-high 25 points in 36 minutes against Portland.
