China to Give PLO Aid for West Bank

BEIJING — China’s Red Cross Society will give medicine and food to the Palestine Liberation Organization for distribution among Palestinians in the Israeli-occupied West Bank and Gaza Strip, the official news agency said on Wednesday.
The New China News Agency gave no figure for the size of the donation. China has no diplomatic ties with Israel, publicly supports the aims of the PLO and subsidizes the education of PLO-sponsored students in China.
