Slow-Growth Initiative Myths

Regarding the article “Grim View of Curbing Development” (March 1):
It’s about time that the anti-initiative side of the slow-growth argument was told. I cannot understand why anyone would knowingly endanger the healthiest economy in the country by excising its most productive industry, especially when this “developectomy” would do nothing toward solving one traffic snarl in Orange County.
We might just as well ban the sale of new cars.
