I beg to differ with Dan O’Neill. “thirty-something” is not about yuppies or self-pitying whiners. It is about those of us reflective enough to grapple with real-life issues and relationships. I applaud the creators and players of this program for bringing to television the intelligence, sensitivity and clarity it all too often lacks. If it is pratfalls and laugh tracks O’Neill wants, he need only change the channel. The rest of us will stay tuned.
