The International Boxing Federation has ordered middleweight champion Frank Tate to fight Michael Nunn of Van Nuys by July.
The mandated bout is contingent upon Nunn, the North American Boxing Federation champion, winning his March 19 Last Vegas fight against Curtis Parker.
Nunn is the IBF’s No. 2 contender. The No. 1 man, Michael Olajide, lost to Iran Barkley Sunday on a fifth-round TKO.
