Michela Figini of Switzerland won her third downhill of the season at Rossland, Canada, to all but clinch the World Cup downhill title.
Figini, a former Olympic champion, leads teammate Brigitte Oertli by 24 points with one race remaining. The winner gets 25 points.
Figini conquered the relatively easy 2,847-meter British Columbia course in 1 minute 42.41 seconds. Second was Oertli in 1:43.30, with Veronika Wallinger of Austria third in 1:43.67.
