Work Begun on Business Park

Construction has begun on the second phase of the $21-million College Business Park, a 26-acre commercial and industrial complex on the north side of Foothill Boulevard at Padua Avenue, straddling the borders of Upland and Claremont.
College Business Park is a joint-venture development of the Mat West Co. of Van Nuys and the Tokyo-based Hazama-Gumi Ltd. It consists of concrete tilt-up, single-story buildings combining office facilities and industrial warehouse space.
The project includes a 2-acre park. Architect and construction manager is the Mat West Co., and the general contractor is Hazama-Gumi Lts.
