Dallas Cowboys star running back Herschel Walker will perform a short dance with the Ft. Worth Ballet on April 10, officials said Friday. “It’s the hardest thing I’ve ever done,” said the burly Walker, who has taken ballet lessons. Artistic director Paul Mejia said he would introduce Walker in a specially choreographed piece with principal dancers Maria Terezia Balogh and Joseph Malbrough in the Sunday matinee performance. Walker agreed to the 10-minute program in order to attract young people to the ballet. Walker won’t be the first football player to briefly trade pigskin for plie --some years ago Twyla Tharp choreographed a piece for former Pittsburgh Steeler wide receiver Lynn Swann.
