Protests

Predictable as clockwork, the current crop of “peace” marchers showed up again when President Reagan ordered troops to Honduras. These people should be labeled for what they are--pro-leftists, not “peace marchers.” Why is it that they can never bestir themselves except in support of left-wing causes? Where were they when North Vietnam raped Cambodia or when Russian troops invaded Afghanistan? They are clearly not against totalitarianism at all--only right-wing totalitarianism.
When these liberals show the same outrage over abominations committed by the far left as they do over excesses of the far right they will be believable. In the meantime, spare us the hypocrisy of “peace” demonstrators who seem to define peace as the total suppression of all civil and military opposition, i.e., the peace of the graveyard.
