Local News in Brief : Santa Ana : Man, 40, Found Shot to Death in Alleyway

Esteban Carabello Hodelin, 40, of Santa Ana was found Monday morning in an alley fatally wounded with a single gunshot in the chest, according to Santa Ana police.
Residents of 818 S. Bristol St. called police at 10 a.m. when they heard shots being fired and saw the man lying wounded in the alley. Paramedics transported Hodelin to UCI Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead at 10:55 a.m.
Police identified Hodelin as a Cuban living at 2405 S. Lowell St. in Santa Ana. A neighbor said he lived with a group of Cuban boxers.
