Gordon Weaver has been released from his contract as a member of the office of the president at De Laurentiis Entertainment Group. Weaver was named to the office of the president in late September, 1987. Weaver, who previously was president of Young & Rubicam’s entertainment division, will maintain offices at DEG for the time being.
