San Fernando Valley vitamin maker Pharmavite Corp. will have to change the package of a diet-aid fiber product that it sells and pay $15,000 to settle a suit brought against it last October by a drug company. A subsidiary of Schering-Plough of Madison, N.J., had claimed in a federal suit filed in Newark, N.J., that packages containing a product made by Arleta-based Pharmavite too closely resembled the package of its Fibre Trim product, which features an orange, a grapefruit and a stalk of wheat on it.
