George Rock; Popularized ‘Two Front Teeth’ Song

George Rock, 68, a trumpet player and vocalist best known for popularizing “All I Want For Christmas Is My Two Front Teeth.” Rock played and clowned for nearly 15 years with Spike Jones and his City Slickers and recorded the Christmas parody in 1948. For a brief time it was the No. 1 song in the nation. After leaving the Jones band in 1960, Rock formed his own group, playing Las Vegas and supplying music for network radio shows. In Champaign, Ill., on Tuesday of unreported causes.
