Burglar, Feet Stuck in Hot Grease, Dies in Restaurant Vent

MEMPHIS, Tenn. — A burglar was found dead at a fried chicken restaurant Tuesday, trapped in an exhaust vent with his feet in a vat of hot grease, police said.
“He got wedged in there and his feet dropped down into that hot grease. He couldn’t get up and he couldn’t get down,” police Lt. Carl Goolsby said.
