The Cristianitos Road on-ramp to southbound Interstate 5 was closed for several hours Wednesday because of leaking chemicals on a truck.
A CHP spokeswoman said the driver of a flatbed truck that was loaded with cans of various chemicals pulled off the road to conduct a routine security check at 3:15 p.m. and discovered that some of the cans were leaking.
The San Diego County hazardous materials team was dispatched to clean up the mess, the spokeswoman said.
