LANCASTER — Four people aboard a twin-engine Cessna missing since the weekend were identified Thursday as a married couple, a mother and her teen-age son, all from Alta Loma, officials said.
The plane left Rialto in San Bernardino County on Sunday afternoon, Civil Air Patrol Maj. Henry Saffold said. The aircraft was believed to be en route to Truckee in the Sierra Nevada north of Lake Tahoe along the Nevada border.
Forty-three planes based at Fox Airport here searched Thursday for the craft, which was carrying pilot John MacDonald, 47, his wife, Nancy, 44, their friend Carole Ades, 47, and her son Anthony, 14, Saffold said.
