Oberdank, Brink, Seeburger Picked in Baseball Draft

Three UC Irvine players were selected in the baseball amateur draft, the university announced Monday.
Jeff Oberdank was selected by the Angels, and John Seeburger and Craig Brink were picked by the New York Yankees.
Oberdank, a second baseman, led Irvine with seven home runs last season. He also hit .344 with 39 RBIs.
Seeburger, who played first base and third base, led the Anteaters in hitting (.351) and RBIs (61). He also had five home runs.
Brink, a pitcher, was 9-5 with a 3.59 earned-run average. He was 30-16 during his college career.
